steampunk party
been falling in love with the aesthetic behind this genre. i was thinking we should get a little get together based around it. Good eats, wine, champ, movies, costumes all based around this genre. who likes this idea?

last one is if you're feeling top hat-ish. google image search too, if you like. what's so cool about steampunk is how adaptable it is. wanna be a mad scientist? done. aristocrat? yep. Pilot? for sure. soldier? yup.

I should be up for this, can't guarantee how much work I will be able to put into it though.

Hmmmm, you could try some of the clear plastic that comes in packaging. It shouldn't be too hard to find and it's easy to cut. It shouldn't crinkle either.
I think I have the coat I'm going to use and I'm fiddling around with some ideas for a modular wrist gun and a wrist explorer's package.

Re: steampunk party
Perhaps due to HOT weather we could move the date back a bit, sayy...halloween or summat? may give us a bit more time for costumes too

Re: steampunk party
*blinkblink* well that pushes back the urgency.
Hey Kyle, when are you doing your B-Day party? Might I suggest a combo? Always assuming the same list of attendees, of course.

Re: steampunk party
Also, wanted to mention that the guests we're having on Canada day are okay with us having it here and are even excited to see us in costume.
Re: steampunk party
We could do a combo, I'm up for doing it on Canada Day as well, though costume progress is slow.

Re: steampunk party
We could always make this a recurring thing, and improve on our costumes each time.
