Nice pics! I recognize the Fu Dog but the other two are new to me. Awesome work on the flames and I love the shades!

Nice work again. Are these characters anyone in particular or are they just random people? The cardboard really does give the picture an interesting texture.

Hookbird - Alien creature I drew up on the plane to BC
It's "beak" is made of a flexible material whose at rest state is sharply curved. Muscles on the top control a bony hinge that the creature uses to forcibly straighten the beak. Relaxing the muscles makes it snap back to its original position, which sends the hook on the end whipping down to snag fishlike creatures and whatever else is on the menu.
