Monsterpocalypse looks awesome. I'm already thinking of ways to make a faceless faction.

I know, I immediately thought of that too.
For those of us who have no idea what we're talking about: http://www.monsterpocalypsegame.com/downloads/Monsterpocalypse-rulebook.pdf
It's a new collectable miniature/board game by the makers of Warmachine and Hordes, so you know it's gonna be good! It's based around the kaiju genre, it's basically if you took Godzilla, Cthulhu, the Cloverfield monster and the Martians from War of the Worlds and turned them loose against each other on the tabletop. I know I, for one, will be picking up a starter as soon as possible.

Re: For Entertainment Purposes Only
Ideas for the Faceless faction:
Shifter's Alpha form is actually on a small base, and has a huge cost to move to Hyper form (GIANT MONSTER) which is very powerful but must move in for attacks on enemy monsters, units, or even buildings (even if you are trying to secure them). The smaller shifter has regen, and either way he gets extra power dice when he destroys any figure. I have more ideas but I'm still thinking and still reading the book, so I'll have more when I've read the whole thing.
Shadow's Alpha form is not actually him, but the area he keeps in darkness. He also comes with a few "illusions" he can summon by spending power dice and he can a) force a figure to move toward/away from it b) force a figure to attack it. Shadow's hyper form causes Darkla to manifest, to general devastation.
Wilhelm is in a giant robot suit, naturally, with a focus on blast attacks and he can interfere with people calling for reinforcements. He also can produce tiny drones which run around and kill things. His Hyper form is then the reactor goes into overdrive dramatically increasing power. This costs power dice every turn and failure to pay up causes the Hyper mode to be destroyed. So he has these giant guns and is nigh unkillable, but he has less power dice and its hard to upkeep. This also means that you need the power dice stored in case his Alpha form is destroyed (he goes into a last ditch killing spree and when he runs out of steam, he runs out of gas).

That is awesome! You've definetly been putting more thought into this than me. Perhaps we should meet and discuss this further...

That site is officially, like, the best site on the internet. Ever.
I love the tiny octopus, he just wants to make someone crazy, is that so much to ask?

There's just something about tentacles that make things seem alien, plus they remind us of Cthulhu.

I worry for you sometimes, I really do. But of course, I mean it in a caring way. Not "you're all insane" sort of way. WHY would I think THAT? I kid.
